A podcast series about Christian theology (by someone who doesn’t have it all figured out yet)

Ep. 1: The faith I found when my faith fell apart

The first episode of my new podcast "Faith Still Seeking" This is the beginning of an earnest, curious, sometimes irreverent exploration of the core ideas of Christianity from the point of view of a faith that still has a lot of questions.

In this episode, I share my background from fundamentalist Evangelicalism though intense questioning, passionate scholarship hoping to reveal the "real" Christianity (or disprove it once and for all), eye-opening revelations that showed new ways of looking at Jesus and the Kingdom, and what keeps me connected to Christianity--despite doubts, uncertainty, and the stuff that still doesn't make rational sense yet.

What “Faith Still Seeking” is all about

An earnest, sometimes raw, sometimes irreverent, always authentic podcast about Christian theology that seeks to discover what we can understand, acknowledge the mysteries that we cannot understand, and explore the things we understand differently.

Inspired in part by Anselm of Canterbury’s famed motto “Fides Quaerens Intellectum” (Faith Seeking Understanding), the Faith Still Seeking series can be found on most major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.

Kelly (he/him) is a lifelong student of theology with a background in Evangelical, Charismatic, and Progressive Christian traditions, and is still trying to put it all together, in hopes that others will know we are Christians by our love. Kelly is also the co-creator/co-host (with Mark Dilcom) of the podcast Radical Love Live.
